MSD is a trade name of Merck & Co., Inc., Whitehouse Station, N.J., U.S.A.ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will be responsible for the area of Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) & HIV indications, within the business unit dedicated to hospital products.The incumbent will be required to develop promotional strategies for designated brands, within the portfolio.The incumbent will be required to:
– Develop & implement specific Patient Support Program, within the Marketing Strategy.
– The incumbent needs to oversee and co-ordinate the implementation of such strategies by the Sales Force.
– The ability to collaborate and communicate with all internal and cross-functional stakeholders is critical (including the business unit manager, commercial management team, sales teams, finance department, HR Department
– The ability to liaise with relevant customers on a professional basis is critical (including General Practitioners, Specialists, Scientific Leaders, Pharmacy, Funders, Government, Commercial customers).
– The incumbent needs to be able to meet deadlines, work autonomously, analyse, plan and implement strategies.Travels 20-30% (Domestic and International)Qualifications
Experience Required:
– Minimum of 3 years as a Hospital Sales Representative (previous field based experience is a must)Additional minimum of 2 years specialized marketing experience
– Experience in promotional campaigns development
– Experience in managing complex projects (such as patient support programs), involving multiple stakeholders
– Fluent in English (written and verbal)Previous
