Role description:
-Actively participates in planning, organization and coordination of accounting and reporting activities within the company accordingtocompanypolicyandguidelinesgivenbydirectsupervisor
Principal Responsibilities:
-Daily bookkeeping transactions.
-Establishes efficient and effective accounting, reporting and control procedures.
-Records monthly closing accounting transactions and ensuresthat alltherequirementsoflocal legislationareadheredto.
-Supports the colleagues in the finance department in their day-to-day workand during preparationofmonthly/quarterly/annualfinancial reports and statements.
-Responsibleforaccuratelyandtimelypreparationandsubmission of allstatutoryfinancialstatements, accounting, taxandstatisticalreports, adheringto deadlines required by the legislation.
-Responsible for communication with local tax authorities. Actively participates in the company audits performed by external and internal auditorsand by tax authorities.
-Ensuresaccuratelyandtimelypreparationof monthlytrial balance and general ledger, as well as periodicfinancialstatements.
-Develops and proposesforimplementation new procedures and policies, aimingtoimprovequalityofworkwithinthecompanyand/orfinancialdepartment.
-Participates in the implementation of company ERP/CRM/financial/reporting/accounting software and gives suggestions for improvements.
-Ensures that the business of the company is adequately supported by quality and timely book-keeping.
-Proposes suggestions for development of the company’s Chart of accounts.
-Co-operates for application of company policies and procedures in the work of financial department.
-Executesothertasks/assignmentsrequested by direct supervisor.
Required Competencies:
Education:
-University degree in Economics/Accounting/Finance.
Knowledge:
-Profound knowledge of local accounting, tax and reporting legislation.
-General knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
Experience:
-Accounting, reporting.
-Internal control.
-IT applicationsfor administration and business.
