A CIVIL UNDERGROUND AND INFRASTRUCTURE SUPERINTENDENT/ CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT
Report to : The Construction Manager/Construction Department
Activities, tasks, responsibilities and missions
– Should be able to manage the Personnel working under his competence (civil Supervisors).
– Ensures the assessment of the progress of work within civil underground & infrastructure and its accounting submitted by the subcontractors.
– Prepares the work progress report for the approval by the Construction management.
– Ensures that civil work tasks are carried out by subcontractors according to the planning agreed upon, and specification requirements.
– Ensure that subcontractor activities are carried out according to the approved Quality Plan and are in compliance with the required HSE standards.
– Should be able to Plan, organize, assign as well as inspect and supervise through his supervisors, the work and tasks of civil underground and infrastructure executed by the manpower designated for it.
– Overall supervises all civil underground and infrastructure works under his/her competence.
– Supervises all civil underground and infrastructure issues (activities, work, tasks) including the approval and contracts reviews, undertake investigations in case of any claim from any part, securing access roads to intervention site.
– Control civil underground and infrastructure needs as well as all expenses made by civil Department.
– Ensures that all the civil underground and infrastructure work is correctly done.
– Check the fitness for purpose of subcontractors equipment and personnel, promoting any action for achieving the project targets particularly those related to civil underground and infrastructure work.
– Assists the Construction management in resolving disputes and claims with the subcontractors.
Location : Algeria (Alger)
Duration : 2 years minimum (rotation: 10/2)

Job requirements
– Diploma : Engineering degree (BAC + 05) in civil engineering or equivalent plus a training in Management.
– Experience required : twelve (12) years with at least seven (07) years within oil & gas sector
– Fluency in English and French languages
– Good commands of computing tools (MS office, outlook) and the specific computing tools needed for civil engineering
– Excellent communication and management skills
