In Algiers we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator HVAC control systems
Responsibilities:
– Translating customer requirements, drawings and specifications to create the lowest achievable installation cost estimate
– Recording all assumptions, exclusions and specification deviations for inclusion within the proposal
– Using approved standard Estimating processes and tools to create estimates using standard Work Breakdown Structures for subsequent import directly into the Field Financial tool
Primary responsibilities include:
– Assistance with the creating highly professional technical and commercial proposals suitable for presentation to the highest levels of management;
– Reviewing scope for all opportunities and proposals;
– Assisting the sales team in understanding and assessing customer’s requirements;
– Selecting the proper combination of hardware, software, equipment, materials and services that will deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall Honeywell business objectives.
– Support of Project Managers, when requested, in the calculation of costs and sell prices for project Change Orders.
Profile:
– BA/BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
– Five plus years experience estimating, project implementation
– Mastery over all applications in HVAC control systems and working knowledge of HVAC products are obligatory
– Multitasking skills
– Good verbal and written communications skills.
– Design engineering experience (hardware and software) a plus
– Documentation tools expertise (submittals, drawings, etc)
– Ability to understand customer requirements/restraints and offer a cost-effective solution to the service needs
– A working knowledge of existing hardware installations and upgrade requirements to current technology
– Good knowledge of English and French
