Role Summary/Purpose:
– Ensuring follow up, safety and efficiency of import /export operation according to local custom regulation
– Cost monitoring and reporting
– Identifying key transport costs in the supply chain activity and be aware about any changes in local custom regulation
Essential Responsibilities:
– Ensuring follow up, safety and efficiency of import /export operation according to local custom regulation
– Cost monitoring and reporting
– Identifying key transport costs in the supply chain activity and be aware about any changes in local custom regulation
– Prepare and update daily logistics schedule to assure deliveries to final locations (site).
– Coordinate daily activity to track location and movement of finished goods, Provide reports to internal collaborators as required.
– Organizes and maintains hard copy and electronic documentation, supporting order fulfillment, distribution means, pricing, and contractual obligations.
– Overview performance of third party brokers.
– Ensure compliance with all state, environmental, safety, and hazardous waste regulations.
– Ensures that goods are shipped in the most timely and efficient manner according to documented processes, including planning the transportation route and payload, tendering the order for transportation, and tracking the shipment from pick up through delivery
– Reducing costs and delays of logistics activity.
– Maintain and develop positive business relationship with customers(suppliers) key contact person involved in logistics activity.
Qualifications/Requirements:
– Experienced in similar operations, preferably with a GE type organization
– Familiar with Algerian processes and work environment
– A previous experience in the Power Genartion industry is much welcome
– Candidate must be fluent in Arabic (Algérie), French and English
– Graduated in Logistics or equivalent experience
