We’re looking for RAN planning & architecture engineer
Job general description:
– RAN planning & architecture Engineer will perform planning and dimensioning of RAN network, setup dimensioning rules, establish the architecture and proposing necessary solutions for improving performance.
This role is likely to be suited to senior technical persons with Technical knowledge of the RAN area, with demonstrable Communication and Consultative skills.
Main responsibilities:
– Setup network dimensioning and engineering rules corresponding to traffic profile.
– Dimensioning & planning of the OSS, RNC and Node B equipment and all related interfaces
– E2E IP Planning design and engineering.
– Propose best in practice methods and databases for network update and follow up.
– Perform routine audits of network statistics and the corrective actions in order to enhance network performance
– Create RNC network architecture and topology.
– Perform on site acceptance tests for different network element jointly with vendor.
– Provide on job training and knowledge transfer to local team
Competence Requirements:
– B.sc in Telecom or higher
– 6+ year’s telecom experience, with at least 4 years 3G experience.
– HUAWEI or ZTE experience is mandatory
– Excellent 3G (R99 & HSPA) RAN Knowledge (Cellular network principle, RAN interfaces, Traffic estimation, Protocols,).
– Excellent knowledge in RAN equipment (RNC, OSS, Node B, IP planning) and dimensioning methodology
– Excellent understanding of RAN features and parameters.
