Overview:
– We are currently seeking a Product Manager responsible for our Audio Visual product categories.
– In this role you will be partnering with our distributor and Head Office in Korea HQ. The position duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
– Ensure sales forecasts and sales targets are achieved.
– Conduct, schedule and organize product, technical, sales training for business partner as well as dealer network.
– Drive significant incremental sales by supporting, training and prospecting for new opportunities
– Negotiate range pricing and promotional opportunities within the business partner
– Plan marketing activities including effective product displays, promotional plans, business partner sales & marketing staff training, dealer programs as well as sales incentives scheme.
– Provide guidance & solution for AV product related issues
– Managing products from specification to obsolescence
– Monitor and report competitors’ activity, along with market analysis and Maintain high levels of awareness of market and customer trends
– Effectively manage, with accurate records, all areas of expenditure including promotional budgets, day to day expenses etc.
– Comply within AV Division guidelines in all areas of pricing, expenses and planning processes.
Qualifications:
– Bachelors Degree and 2-7 years of home comfort and/or seasonal product sales management experience with national retail accounts. National home center account management experience strongly preferred.
– Strong work ethic
– Comfortable working on long term, strategy focused projects
– Independent thinker who can take creative approaches
– Must have an aptitude for forward planning while being disciplined in getting things done
– Able to make decisions based on available data
– Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
– Strong presentation skills.
– Proficiency of Microsoft Office tools
– 3~5 years in AV related sales & marketing
– Good presentation & communication skill in French and English (Written & Verbal)
– Proven sales track record with AV product introductions to the marketplace
– Planning and strategy skill combined with action and strong execution ability
– Sense of urgency, team player, attention to detail, good customer relations
– Effective decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills
– Proven ability to plan, develop and effectively manage a budget
– Bachelor degree or (Master’s degree Preferred)
– Proficiency with Internet, Web based system, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
– Coupled with good negotiating skills and leadership by influence.
– In-depth knowledge of the AV industry with experience in working with the business partner and dealer network.
