Overview:
– We are currently seeking a Product Manager responsible for our Room Air Conditioning product categories.
– In this role you will be partnering with our distributor and Head Office in Korea HQ. The position duties include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
– Achieve sales revenue targets within cost margin parameters.
– Partner with Samsung key account management teams in other product/business divisions to maximize sales opportunities and enhance Samsung’s presence within the respective accounts.
– Pursue new opportunities through participation in customer product line reviews. Prepare and present program overviews, market trends, and relevant future plans.
– Monthly and quarterly sales/production forecast management in collaboration with category specific demand planners.
– Manage Samsung’s in-store experience through the effective design and execution of POS materials and programs.
– Work closely with Samsung product management teams to define new market/product opportunities and gaps in existing programs.
– Trade shows and special events as required.
– Managing products from specification to obsolescence
Qualifications:
– Bachelors Degree and 2-7 years of home comfort and/or seasonal product sales management experience with national retail accounts. National home center account management experience strongly preferred.
– Strong work ethic
– Comfortable working on long term, strategy focused projects
– Independent thinker who can take creative approaches
– Must have an aptitude for forward planning while being disciplined in getting things done
– Able to make decisions based on available data
– Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
– Strong presentation skills.
– Proficiency of Microsoft Office tools
