Key Objectives:
- Reporting and assisting the Regional (Operations) Manager and Director on a daily basis
- Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and completion of 1st Draft Monthly Management Accounts for the Regional office in accordance with Task List (attached) and
- Managing Banks on a daily basis including Cash Flow Management
- Ensuring reconciliation of inter-company account
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing the Creditors ledger including the review, approval, posting and payment of invoices together with monthly creditor reconciliations
- Managing the Debtors ledger including the preparation of sales invoices and the management of the collection of receipts from customers
- Manage all staff payroll and expenses including payments and monthly reconciliations
- Management of the Accounts System and Reports as required
- Ensure compliance with all revenue returns including filing and payment of sales tax, payroll tax and corporation tax
- Liaising with Financial Advisors and Auditors to ensure all regulatory compliance is adhered to
- Ensure systems are in place for the protection of the company’s assets including the maintenance of a fixed asset register
- Assist with the implementation of continuous improvements in operational and financial systems and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OFS’ Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures
Key competencies:
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem solving skills
- Can work to deadlines and excellent communication skills
- Computer literate and proven track record and understand of Finance Systems and Windows
Qualifications:
- Ideally a Qualified Accountant with recognised professional qualification
