Essential Responsibilities
Provide counsel and advice on the GE supplied equipment operations in accordance with guidelines and specifications, operating symptoms and history.
– Coordinate the technical communications between customer engineering staff and GE Engineering and assist expediting engineering supports.
– Assist the customer in the proper use of GE technical documentations provided with the equipment.
– Assist in development of specific data log sheets and preventive maintenance check lists for the customer site’s operating and maintenance personnel to record unit data.
– Provide counsel and advice on troubleshooting and scheduled maintenance procedures to maintain equipment as required and consistent with manufacturer’s recommendations.
– Provide counsel and advice regarding the establishment of an adequate inventory of materials, equipment and spare parts for maintaining optimum operation of the GE supplied units.
– Provide advice and counsel regarding changes, modifications, and upgrades for maintaining optimum operation of the GE supplied equipment.
– Provide advice for scheduling routine maintenance, advise the sequence of scheduled and additional inspection activities.
– Be on site during emergency situations requiring the Gas Turbine Resident Engineer.
– Respond to forced outages for quick response time and necessary resources to restore the site unit to operating conditions in a timely manner.
– Assistant CPM for the profitability and customer satisfaction of assigned contract
– Support in data collections & analysis of unit operations, generating unit operations report, communications with GE M&D center etc.
– Be responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives;
Qualifications/Requirements
– Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or control Engineering
– In-depth technical knowledge of combined cycle power plant operations and maintenances in particular 9FA and 9FB machines
– Applicable leadership skills required for working in a dynamic, energetic and complex environment.
– Familiarity with e-tools and service applications
– Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with colleagues and customers
– Strong ownership and customer service focus with the ability to empathize as well as prioritize customer needs.
– Ability to work efficiently with less direct supervision.
– Willingness to work continuously at site and travel in the country or sometime to oversea
