Cvsearch is recruiting for her client, a customer goods company in household, health and personal care, her Sales Manager Algeria.
Your main objectif as a sales Manager is to develop and implement the sales strategy per customer in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives (Net Revenue, Cop, Gross Margin, Working Capital), and to manage the customer relationship on an ongoing basis.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, your main tasks will consist on:
Building long term partnership with the custome.
Responsible for managing customer negotiations in relation to the company’s commercial strategy and the customer trading terms.
Implementation and ongoing management of the category strategy per customer
Continuous improvement in the management of the account by identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability and overall improvement in the management of categories.
Leadership :Business and Organisation
Ability to translate the company’s strategic goals into initiatives and executable objectives in own role.
Continuously reviews opportunities for addressing the needs of the customer to improve business results.
Leadership: People Management and Development
Acts as strong team player within the sales organisation, motivates and encourages others, shares ideas and best practices actively within the team.
Coaches and guides junior staff through the setting of clear responsibilities and objectives, providing constructive feedback, and sharing experience with others in the use of best practice sales techniques
Business: Planning and Monitoring
Linking commercial targets with viable action plans.
Proactively uses data, information and feedback to support continuous improvement in account management and to support future planning.
Proactively monitors performance against business KPIs.
Sales: 4P – In store Execution
Proactively identifies 4P opportunities within the category and customers.
Proven track record or delivering good in store execution, proactively monitors in store compliance.
Develops and delivers effective 4P execution based on the success model and an understanding of the customer, and categories resulting in profitability improvements..
Sales :Customer Management
Builds business networks both internally and externally, seeks to build existing networks and new business networks.
Develops in-depth understanding of the customer performance, practices and processes able to effectively apply this to customer plans, business propositions and arguments.
Effectively manages short term and long term customer tactics and strategies, able to respond to short term customer needs without damaging the long term business perspective.
Sales: Negotiation and Influence
Develops effective customer negotiation plans.
Manage customer/buyer expectations and objections, able to say no and maintain ongoing trading relationship.
Anticipate customer’s reaction in negotations and selling pitches, effectively uses understanding of customers needs and attitudes.
Marketing:
Understands promotional strategy and tactics and how they integrate with brand strategy.
Uses understanding of consumer marketing and consumer insights to develop customer propositions and sales plans.
Finance:
Develop forecasts, identify trends, monitor performance against KPIs and track trade spend budget.
Bachelor degree in a commercial subject, at least 3 years of proven sales Experience with a blue chip fast moving consumer goods company with key international or local retailers.
You have an experience of influencing and engaging key figures in customer organisations. Additional functional experience, preferably in Marketing, Trade Marketing and/or Finance is an advantage.
You have strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities. Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues.
Good Computer skills (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
Speak fluent English with at least one other language preferred.
