BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

– In the forefront of sales, handles operational sales related activities in conjunction with the guidance of immediate management for a particular area in a country or sector or product segment, certain accounts and in the course of the same to fulfill the given sales forecast and also collection activities. For the same he will refer to a market study in hand.

– Road runner and always seeking out sales opportunities through a door to door approach.

– Always available to customers in the designated area.

– Manage consistency of service with customers.

Main Tasks :

– Conduct market surveys on the floor in the designated area or in the sector specified in the given lines, usually aligned with BU marketing teams.

– Follow a set Weekly Sales Transaction / Routing and report to his superiors on the outcome through the same format and  visit out comes and other required briefing by superiors.

– Conduct customer visits, assess their requirements and respond to them appropriately through offers, samples etc… leading to orders.

– Conduct the necessary sales field activities, so as to ensure the given sales forecast set for a designated area, accounts or segments is met.

– Prepare and issue the sales related queries (RFQ, sample lab tests, samples..) to affiliates, in the stipulated forms & formats, in compliance with the procedures.

– Prepare sales orders in line with the approved terms to be channeled through the superiors in the field to Regional Managers to be processed further.

– Follow up and communication at two fronts covering the designated area or sector.

– Through physical contact / visits to customer with regard to their queries, quotation requests, samples, orders, order deliveries and collections.

– With Business Units’ (CCU (s) & Account Departments on matters same as above through specified forms and formats like weekly pending issues etc..

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

– Bachelors degree.

– Basic Selling techniques.

Knowledge :

– Sales.

– Computer proficiency – basic application skills.

– Knowledge of products served.

– Proficiency in English & Arabic written and verbal.

Skills :

– Sales charisma.

– Communication & negotiation skills.
