Essential Responsibilities

– Serve as the primary interface with assigned external customers for all technical/sales matters insuring that both customer and GE objectives are met

– Assume overall responsibility for customer satisfaction as well as key decision making responsibilities compliantly and the support of the organization’s sales and revenue objectives

– Timely response to all customer inquiries for the processing of customer orders, acknowledgements, amendments, and alterations

– Clearly define and communicate problems as perceived by the customer back to the organistaion

– Maintain current knowledge of the product / OTR status including future use and needs of the customer

– Manage the activities of supporting organizations to ensure that technical and business challenges are resolved with a balanced interest of GE and the customer

– Provide functional direction to supporting personnel; apply knowledge of product support to identify and solve any current or potential problems

– Monitor special programs; coordinate both internally and externally with the customer

– Serve as a conduit for solutions detailed understanding of customer’s business model and how GE’s products and services develop and deliver added value to the customer

– Drive At the Customer, For The Customer (ACFC) programs with key focus on deepening customer relationships and direct demand generation

Qualifications/Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

– At least 6 additional years of Oil & Gas experience in direct sales, account or sales team leadership experience

– Developed relationships across the drilling industry (IADC, customers, suppliers)

– In depth knowledge of all pressure control equipment used during drilling opertions, services and customer applications

– Developed understanding of commercial activities and processes

– Solid experience in business development or building growth plans is preferred

– Able to develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels, including the CEO staff level

– Strategic or product marketing exposure

– Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions

– Six Sigma Green Belt certification (GE Employees only)

– Strong oral and written communication skills

– Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

– Knowledge of Drilling industry and operations
