Job Summary:

Overseeing the work flow in different Hikma Algeia warehouses including receiving, storing, and shipping goods, in addition to overseeing the different warehousing processes and operations to ensure compliance with the international warehousing standards and specifications. Overseeing regular preventive and corrective maintenance activities at all Hikma Algeria warehouses while reviewing inventory records and statistics to maintain the optimal level of inventory within Hikma’s warehouses.

Job Specifications

Education

Minimum: B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent

Preferred: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)  or equivalent

Experience

Minimum: (5) years of experience in a related position

Preferred: Experience in a pharmaceutical industry

Hikma Training Requirements

– Training on SAP

– Training on relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

– Training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Activities, Duties & Responsibilities

Technical & Executive

– Overseeing the work flow in different Hikma Algeria warehouses including receiving, shipping and storage to ensure high productivity

– Overseeing all warehousing processes and operations to ensure compliance with the international warehousing standards and specifications

– Overseeing the regular preventive and corrective maintenance activities at all Hikma Algeria  warehouses

Technical & Executive…(Cont’d)

– Reviewing inventory records and statistics, and managing inventory control practices at all Hikma Algeria warehouses

– Following up on updating different Warehouse function transactions to the SAP System

– Ensuring that SOPs are applied during different processes at all Hikma Jordan warehouses to comply with the international standards

– Analyzing weekly KPI’s report to identify the required improvements to the processes of the Raw Warehouse function

– Managing the process of establishing and updating the inventory management System at all Hikma Algeria warehouses

– Managing the evaluation of Hikma Algeria’s warehouses capacities and utilization levels, in addition to planning future capacity and utilization requirements

– Managing the development and implementation of warehouses security systems and measures at all Hikma Algeria warehouses

– Managing the process of annual stocktaking at all Hikma Algeria warehouses in collaboration with the finance function

– Reviewing and analyzing reports with regards t warehouses conditions and quality checks, in addition to addressing any issues and concerns in a timely manner

– Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor

Administrative

– Preparing periodic reports with respect to the Warehouse function’s activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor

– Ensuring that instructions, circulars and organizational and technical decisions are followed and applied

– Specifying manpower requirements for the Warehouse function according to the recruitment and selection and manpower planning practices

– Recommending training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned human resources personnel

– Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices

– Following up on employees’ administrative affairs such as: vacations, leaves…etc.

– Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to follow up on the smooth running of activities and keeping abreast with latest business-related practices

– Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position whenever the need arises
